Ella R Neumann November 20, 1925 – March 30, 2018 Age 92, of Omaha, Preceded in death by her parents, Milly (Woods) and Charles Hankins; sisters, Martha Lewis and NoLa Emery; half-brother, Tony Lang; husband, Charles Neumann; son, James; daughter-in-law, Kathy; and grandson, Sammy. Ella is survived by her son, Charles; daughter-in-law, Janet; grandchildren, Laura (Bryce) Journey, Rita, Russell (Kayla) Contessa, and Victor; great-grandchildren, Luke and Joseph Journey; nephews and many friends. Ella was born in Grand Island.

Her family moved to Omaha where she graduated from Central High School. In the 1960’s she and her husband owned and ran a small grocery store in the Benson area. She later worked many years at Immanuel Hospital.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Ella lived by the motto; There are no strangers, just friends I haven’t met yet. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00am at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home located at 4425 S 24th Street in Omaha.

Inurnment will be in the Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
