Ellen Gwynn passed away May 8, 2019 at the age of 81. She was born in Gebo, Wyoming (now a ghost town) on November 10, 1937. Her parents are Milton R. Agenstine and Florence (McCallum) Agenstine.

Ellen grew up in Casper, Wyoming and was a proud graduate of Natrona High School. After high school she worked as a secretary for an oil company and was highly skilled in shorthand and typing. She married Ed Gwynn February 16, 1957.

Ed worked as a surveyor in the oil fields, so they moved around Wyoming several times in the first few years of their marriage. They finally settled in Cody, Wyoming and raised their family there. They were blessed with five children: Eileen (Mark) Curdy, Martin (Diana) Gwynn, Tom (Julie) Gwynn, Dan (Brenda) Gwynn, Laura (Dennis) Decker; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Her family was her life. She was known to everyone as a great cook and an amazing homemaker. She always gave a listening ear and was a great friend.

She loved to read and always kept her listeners spellbound with her story-telling abilities. Ellen was an excellent pianist and blessed all who knew her with that talent. She instilled in her children a love of music and encouraged them all in their learning of at least one musical instrument.

Service to others was always important to Ellen, and she gave selflessly.
