Mrs. Ellen Rose Blanton, 75, of 705 Bullard Street, Roseboro, NC passed away Sunday at Eastover Gardens Nursing Home, Eastover, NC. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Simon Temple AME Zion Church, Fayetteville, NC with Rev. Brian R. Thompson, Sr. officiating.

Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC. Mrs. Blanton is survived by her DAUGHTERS-Ellenita “Toni” Blanton-Golding of Fayetteville, NC, Duchess Hunter of Perry, GA and Nikkie Blanton of Winterville, NC; SON-John Blanton, II of High Point, NC; SISTERS-Frances Burney-Matthews of Charlotte, NC and Lila Faye Williams of Rockledge, FL; three grandchildren.
