RUCKER, Elmer Demar, 23, born August 22, 1994 in Dayton, Ohio, fell asleep in death Thursday, April 19, 2018. “Demar” was a graduate of Ponitz Career Technology Center. An avid basketball player, he attended and was a member of the basketball teams of Miami University, Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana, and was currently enrolled at Clark State Community College majoring in Criminal Law.

Demar enjoyed life and being with his family and friends. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Elmer Rucker, and Rana and Thomas Fugate; brother, Thomas Fugate; sister, Christen Coole; a host of uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 10 am Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Bro.
