Obituary for Elmer E. Noland Elmer E. Noland, 71, of, Uhrichsville, and formerly of Alliance, died on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 8:33 a.m. at his home. Born on October 2, 1944 in Glouster, Ohio, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving our country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Independence. He retired from General Motors Lordstown, where he was employed on the line for over 30 years.

In his past-time, he enjoyed working on motors and fishing. He is survived by his six daughters, Peggy (Terry) Turnbull, Brenda Noland, Victoria (Bruce) Lowery, Rebecca Noland, Jennifer Fisher and Ashley Noland; a step-daughter, Christina Garrison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters; a brother; several nieces and nephews; and wife, Denise Noland. Preceding him in death was an infant daughter, Deanna Noland; his parents, Fred and Carrie (Kirkbride) Noland; two sisters; and a brother.

The family will receive friends at Walton-Schrader Funeral Home on Thursday, September 8, 2016, from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. His funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
