OBITUARY Elois Louise Smith December 23, 1939 – January 10, 2019 Elois Louise Smith, 79, of Van Buren passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born December 23, 1939 in Van Buren to the late Ike and Willie Newton. She was retired from Meadors Inn.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Myers of Gans, OK, Gayla Mayo of Rudy, and Deborah Haley of Van Buren; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2019 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Pallbearers will be Derek Hyso, Austin Allen, Michael Smith, Jack Myers, Steve Mayo, and Stacey Myers.

John Allen will serve as an honorary pallbearer. The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
