Obituary of Elsie Fleck Elsie Marie Fleck, 86, of State College, died Friday, January 4, 2019, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born March 7, 1932, in Greenwood Furnace, she was the daughter of the late Rodger Davis Ewing and Ada Blanche Gibboney Ewing. On August 18, 1951 she married Guy E. Fleck, who passed away in 2012.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Gwendolyn H. Rockey and her husband, John, of Bellefonte, and Jennifer L. Foreman and her husband, Michael, of Spring Mills, and a grandson, Shawn Michael Foreman. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Maude Louise White and Anna Weiler. Elsie graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1950.

Her first job was at Owens-Coring Fiberglass in Huntingdon. She also worked for Penn State University in the Accounting department. After her children were born, she worked alongside her husband, Guy, supporting their farming operations.

Elsie continued her husband’s membership after he passed with the Centre County Farm Bureau. Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Koch Funeral Home, with Reverend Gene McCallips officiating.

Burial will be in Mooresville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to an organization of the donor’s choice in honor of Elsie. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College.
