Obituary for Elva L. Myers Elva L. Myers, 94, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Edgewood Sierra Hills in Cheyenne. Elva was born February 10, 1924 in Jefferson County, Nebraska, the youngest of 14 children to Luther and Carrie (Barnhart) Breazeale. As a young woman, Elva worked for the Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne during World War II.

She later worked as a secretary for the Wyoming State Engineer’s Office. She was actively involved with the Frontier United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, Mended Hearts, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, the YMCA and S.E.R.G.

She also enjoyed camping, traveling, sightseeing and playing bingo. She will be remembered as someone who loved life and will be missed dearly by the staff of Edgewood Sierra Hills, her family and numerous friends. Elva is survived by her two sons, Martin (Debbie) Myers and Ralph (Caroline) Myers; three grandchildren, Michelle, Mike and Becky; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Lester Myers; a grandson, Scott Myers; and her 13 siblings. A memory service will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge.
