Elvia was a 3rd grade teacher for many years at Chambers Elementary in Alief ISD, an incredibly gifted teacher, her students thrived and they as well as her colleagues loved her. Her favorite hobbies were reading and traveling. Elvia leaves behind many loving family members including her husband Luis, her sons Luis, Diego, and Javier.
She also leaves behind her best friend Patricia Villarreal. A memorial service is scheduled but date and time are pending and will be updated soon. The memorial service will be held at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd,Houston, Tx 77072.
