Elvin Ware, 84, of Elkhart, passed from this life Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 12:41 a.m. at Valley View Health Care Center, where he had been battling a prolonged illness. Elvin was born in Pope, MS on April 1, 1934 to the late Roy L. and Adlena (Henderson) Ware. After serving in the US Army, he was honorably discharged in May of 1957.

Elvin was a man of great intelligence. He loved reading and keeping up with current events. Being a carpenter by trade, he was a gifted builder.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was very generous and would help anyone in need. Before his demise, Elvin rededicated his life to Christ.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters Dymple E. Ware and Lisa A Ware of Elkhart, also, one grandson Micah R (Brittany) Ware and one great grandson Kai R Ware of Goshen; One sister Dimple E Langford of Batesville, MS and one brother Larry W (Suzette) Ware of Coffeeville, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Michele R Ware, brothers Marvin Ware, T Roy Ware, Martin (Joe) Ware, Stanley Ware and Glenn Ware.
