Obituary for Emelia Chernecky Emelia Chernecky, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Deltona Healthcare in Deltona, Florida. She was a resident of Deltona, Florida since 1984. Mrs. Chernecky was formerly of Piscataway, NJ.

She had worked for the Pitney Bowes Corporation in South Plainfield, NJ for many years before moving to Florida. Mrs. Chernecky was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a past member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ.

She is survived by her two sons Steven Chichila of Piscataway, NJ and Mark Chichila and his wife Hedi of Stratford, Connecticut and by her two daughters Lydia Kynik of Wallingford, Connecticut and Stephanie Salazer and her husband Jay of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The viewing will be on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd.

, Manville, NJ. The Funeral will take place on Friday, September 21, 2018 10:00 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 11:00 AM Liturgy at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Andrews Ukrainian Cemetery in South Bound Brook, NJ.
