Obituary for Emerson “Bud” Jones Emerson “Bud” Jones, age 85 of Alliance, died on Friday April 8, 2016 at 3:20 p.m. at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born July 6, 1930 in Riverside, Pennsylvania. Mr. Jones was a U. S. Navy veteran and retired from Kuntzman Trucking after 35 years as a truck driver.

Bud was a life member of the VFW Post 1036, member of Conrad Masonic Lodge, Shriners, honorary life member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, and member and past exalted ruler, 1990-1991 and 2001-2002 of Elks Lodge 467. Survivors include his daughter, Mary (Ron) Walls of Louisville; granddaughter, Tanae Walls of Canton; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine L. (Romoser) Jones, on May 16, 2008; and daughter, Anne Helms in October of 2007.

Per Mr. Jones request, no service or calling hours will be held. A Celebration of Bud’s life will be held April 17, 2016, from 2-5 p.m. at the Alliance VFW Post 1036, 1036 E. State St. Alliance, Ohio 44601. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Crippled Children’s Fund, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa FL 33607.
