OBITUARY Emma Jane Anderson August 26, 1924 – January 2, 2019 Emma Jane Anderson, 94, passed away on January 2, 2019, in Kansas City. She was born on August 26, 1924, to Claud and Iva (Loyd) Foster in Brownington, MO. , Henry County.

She was the youngest of four daughters. She attended a one-room school. After high school and some college, she moved to Kansas City, where she worked for Southwestern Bell in the accounting department for nine years.

She married Frank R. Anderson in 1948 and they became the parents of two children. She was an active member of the PTA, and the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City and its mission church Northgate Baptist since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, her parents, her three sisters, Helen (Metz) Jones, Hazel Foster and Mildred (Ralph) King.

Survivors include her children, Claude (Susan) Anderson and Fran Anderson, grandchildren Christine (Pete) Haasz, David (Becky) Muncy, and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was grateful to her many friends, relatives and neighbors who have helped her during the last few years. She was a 34-year cancer survivor and wished to thank Dr. Mark DeWolfe for his care.
