Emma’s Obituary For I am now ready to be offered , and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (2 Timothy 4:6-8) Emma Jane Cox was born on May 23, 1936 in Parksville South Carolina to Jim & Lucy Collins. She was a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida for over 60 years.

She attended the schools in Parksville South Carolina before relocating to Fort Pierce, Fl. She worked in the Nursing industry, enjoyed cooking, feeding and spending time with family and friends. On Sunday January 13, 2019, the Angel of the Lord summoned Ms. Emma to a place of rest.

She was Preceded in Death by her Father & Mother: Jim and Lucy Collins. Brothers: Willie Edward Collins, James Collins, Marion Collins; Sisters: Mattie Belle Collins, Jessie Lee Collins, Essie Mae Jennings; Son: Melvin Collins. Those left to cherish her memories are; Son: David Jerome Cox of Fort Pierce, FL Grand-Daughter: Shameka Latrice Moss of Fort Pierce, FL Great-Grand Son: Joshua Gabriel Moss of Fort Pierce, FL Brother: John D. Collins of Fort Pierce, FL Sister: Janet Green of Fort Pierce, FL Special Niece: Katrina (Donald) Mills of Fort Pierce, FL: a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
