Emma Sue Sanders Cooley, 82, wife of Wilton Cooley of 175 W. Chapman Rd. , passed Friday, November 30th, 2018 at her residence. Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late D.E. and Jurley Rowsey Sanders.

She was a member of Belton Pentecostal Holiness Church where she taught Sunday school and played the organ. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are: daughter, Denise C. Hamby (Derek) of Belton; sons, Jeffrey D. Cooley and Kevin Cooley both of Belton; sister, Naomi Crawford; grandchildren, Tasha Fuller, Jessica and Brandon Cooley, Amber Acuff, Chrissy Rutledge and Christopher Cooley; 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: son, Neal Patrick Cooley; grandson, Jeffrey Cooley; brother, Johnny Sanders; sisters, Kathline Escoe and Sylvene Sanders.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6pm until 8pm at Cox Funeral Home. Service will be held 2pm Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Barden and Rev.

Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Belton Cemetery. The family will be at the residence.
