Obituary for Emmanuel Kings Tashi Print Emmanuel Kings Tashi, 62, of Haverhill, Mass. passed away peacefully on December 29, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born in Akum, Cameroon on June 28, 1956.
He attended elementary and high school in Cameroon, and continued his education to receive a Bachelor Degree. In 1982, he came to United States where he continued his education and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics. He married the love of his life, Margaret Kangsen in 1983.
They made their home in Haverhill, Mass. Emmanuel was the son of the late Chi and Esther (Lum) Tashi. He is survived by his wife, Margaret B. Emmanuel Tashi.
Devoted father of Luteh O. Tashi, Chi A. Tashi, Emmanuel Kings Tashi, Jr., and Lum-Bih N. Tashi. Cherished grandfather of Riley Jane Tashi and Kingsen Rae Tashi. Loving brother of Mami Susan Ngeminang.
Also survived by a host of relatives and friends here and in Cameroon. He loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Eliot Presbyterian Church, 273 Summer Street, Lowell, Mass. 01852 at 3PM. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1Pm to 3PM at the church.
