Enriqueta (Henrietta) Ortiz Roman, 84, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2019 surrounded by her family at home. She was born on December 11, 1934 in La Pryor to Alberto and Santos Ortiz. Enriqueta married Emilio Roman in 1957 in La Pryor.

Over the years, she worked in food service for Notre Dame Catholic School and Town House Care Center. She volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and worked every year at Notre Dame Fall Festival. Enriqueta loved spending time with her children and when the grandchildren and great grandchildren came along, they fulfilled her life and brought her so much joy.

She loved playing sports and board games with the kids. She also enjoyed a good game of BINGO. Enriqueta was an excellent cook and loved to share her food with loved ones and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Hector Guadalupe Ortiz, Frederico Juan Ortiz, Beatrice Saldana Rosaelia Hernandez and Sonia Ortiz; granddaughter, Michelle Wilmer; great grandchildren, Analysa and Alysa Garcia; and son in law, Louis L. Fabricator. Enriqueta is survived by her husband, Emilio Roman; children, Serafine Roman (Nora), Sonya Fabricator, Emilio Roman Jr. (Ty), Esperanza Rosales (Emilio), Albert Roman, John Roman, Gloria Rosales (Richard), Maria Elena Vasquez (Ben), LeRoy Roman, Cynthia Roman and Nancy Duran (David); 13 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe Hernandez, Orma Perez and Rudy Ortiz. She had numerous nieces and nephews that she loved so much.
