Eric Tallent, 39 of Rushville, passed away on May 1, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 30, 1979 in Rushville. He was the son of Dale and Julie (Bunch) Haley.

Eric was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He loved rodeos and riding every horse he could. Eric was on the Indiana High School Rodeo Team.

He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, fishing, and ball games. Eric is survived by his loving mother, Julie; brothers, Andy (Angie) Tallent of Morristown and Gus Haley of Rushville; grandmother, Gloria Bunch; nieces, Jamie and Gracie Tallent. He will also be missed by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eric is preceded in death by his father, Dale Haley; grandparents, Jim Bunch, Murphy and Irene (Shiplet) Haley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 10 AM in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father James Brockmeier presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 2PM-6 PM in Moster Mortuary.

Burial will held in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank his caregivers Megan Fields and Donna Adams for all of their love and support through the years. Memorial Contributions may be made out to the St. Mary Catholic School.
