Erika’s Obituary Erika, age 79, of Farmington Hills, Michigan passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born March 5, 1939 in Wanne-Eickel, Germany the daughter of the late Karl and Anna Bonk. Beloved mother of Samuel and Susanne Gorman; proud grandmother of Blake, Laura, Spencer and Julian; sister of Udo Bonk and the late Renate Bonk.

Erika was a loving mother and selfless friend. Her body possessed the spirit of a saint that has touched so many. There is no memory of her that does not bring with it a feeling of peace, love or joy.

She lived her life to give others an opportunity for greatness and encouraged everyone around her to be their best. The Gorman family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Ceremony. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Salvation Army Thank you for keeping Erika and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
