Obituary for Erin “Irene” Rebecca Casey Erin “Irene” Rebecca Casey, age 33, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 in Chicago. Beloved daughter of Michael and Barbara Casey of Orrville, OH; dear sister of Lauren Casey of Bowling Green, KY; cherished granddaughter of the late Henry and Rebecca Casey, and the late John and Shirley Gouse; loving girlfriend of Cory Bengtsen of Chicago. She is survived by many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

She will also be missed by her feline companion Lorre. Erin was a talented musician, and enjoyed playing both the bass and electric guitar. She sang in the choir at Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral.

Her Orthodox faith was very important to her. She was an avid reader and abstract painter, and attended both Olivet Nazarene University and Columbia College Chicago during her studies. She will be remembered by family and friends for many things, but mostly for her faithfulness and her unwavering support of them in their times of need.

She is very loved, and will be dearly missed. Visitation Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 9:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral, 1121 N Leavitt St, Chicago until time of Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m. Committal Service Friday, October 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at the chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery, 1729 W. High Street, Orville, OH. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery.
