Erma M. Polk Warrenton, GA – Mrs. Erma Mae Polk, 89, entered into rest July 7, 2018 at Gibson Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Polk grew up in Emanuel County, GA and was the daughter of the late Thad McKuhen and the late Mattie Henry McKuhen. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Warren County, GA.

Mrs. Polk loved flower gardening and cooking for her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Warrenton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 8 siblings and her husband of 57 years, Lester Polk.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Culver of Martinez, GA, Robert Polk (Marian) of Appling, GA, Debbie Hansen of Harlem, GA and Terrie Thames (Punkin) of Sardis, GA; brother, Henry McKuhen (Shirley) of Camak, GA and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Dunaway officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home or they may visit the residence of Samantha Hand, 1311 County Line Rd. , Harlem, GA. Beggs Funeral Home, 799 Cobbham Rd.

, Thomson, Georgia is honored to serve the Polk family.
