Obituary for Ermalee Ruth McCauley (Hall) Ermalee Ruth Hall McCauley of Havre de Grace, MD passed away surrounded by the love of her family on December 29, 2018. She was 91 years and the loving wife of the late William P. McCauley. She was born in Glen Hedrick, WV to the late Dallas Morgan and Mabel Mae (Meadows) Hall.

Mrs. McCauley was the devoted mother of Paul McCauley and his wife Elizabeth, Michael McCauley and his wife Teresa “Terry”, Myra McCauley Mayer and her husband Douglas, Donna McCauley Cicero and Mildred Campbell and her husband Dr. Kenneth Campbell. She was the adoring Nana/Nena to Randy McCauley, Sara Tolley, Melissa Love, Ryan Mayer, Susan Cicero, Tracy Wilkinson, Caleb Schaffer, David McCauley, Rachael McCauley and Stephanie Riddle. Mrs. McCauley was the loving great-grandmother to Derrick Green,Dillon McCauley, Jasmine Dolinger, Anthony Arceneaux, Lily McCauley, Maggie McCauley, Jackson Tolley, Emily Love, Michael Amato, Mycah Wilkinson, Brianna Arceneaux, Abby Love, Maddie Wilkinson, Brooklyn Tolley, Cameryn Black, Mason Wilkinson, Molly Wilkinson, Kira Mayer, and Miliana Ruth Weckerly.

She was the beloved sister to the late Norford Clayton Hall, Dallas Hall, Edel “Duke” Hall, Arlen “Sonny” Hall, Mildred Crook, Ernestine Adams and Ona Alcock. She was known as Aunt Erma, to a host of adoring nieces and nephews Ermalee was a graduate of Havre de Grace High School class of 1945, where upon graduation she worked as a Computer Systems Administrative Assistant. She worked at the BRL (Ballistic Research Laboratories) home of the ENIAC which was the world’s first high speed electronic computer at the Aberdeen Proving Ground.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Society of Decedents of George Washington Army at Valley Forge, Business and Professional Women’s Club and The Young at Heart Club. Ermalee loved cruising and went on over 50 cruises with friends and family! A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 10 AM at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD Mrs. Ermalee McCauley’s requests were to have a celebration of life and everyone should dress accordingly.
