Wagener – Mr. Ernest Dougherty, 84, entered into rest Sunday, March 17, 2019. Mr. Ernest was married to the late Mary Claire Dougherty. He is the father of Christine (Claude) Hammers, Joe (Sherida) Dougherty, Thomas (Michele) Dougherty and the late Anthony (Sandy) Dougherty.

Mr. Ernest is the grandfather of Raymond Hammers, Nicole Hammers, Heath (Samantha) Battrell, Morgan Battrell, Jennifer Dougherty, and Kaylee Dougherty. He is the great grandfather of Alicia Hammers, Alexandria Hammers, Annabella Hammers, Aaron Hammers, Margaret “Maggie” Reynolds, and Maxwell Battrell. He is the brother of the late Leroy “Pete” (Lorraine) Dougherty.

Mr. Ernest designed and fabricated truck bodies for France Betten. He liked to farm and garden. His favorite possession was his 1953 Farmall Super “C”.

Mr. Ernest could price tag with the best of “The Price Is Right” competitors.
