Betty Willey James – 12 minutes ago Comment Share this: Facebook Twitter TT My Uncle Ernie was my favorite uncle.
He and aunt Winnie reminded me of Abraham and Sarah in the bible. When we came to see them they came out to the car to meet us. They always hugged us andd would offer us something to eeat and drink.
They made us feel welcome. When I had young children at home and the weather would get cool uncle Ernie would call and say is your old man at home? Well leave the kids at home and come on over.
He would make panvakesand deer sausage and me and him and aunt Winnie would eat and laugh and talk till we were full and happy. I dearly love him. TrudyleaTerry.
Trudylea Terry – 19 hours ago Comment Share this: Facebook Twitter FR I am so grateful to have known him and visit he and Winnie at their wonderful place with that big porch and ancient oaks and the green green grass. I loved listening to him tell stories. I was honored to be given one of his many handicrafts… my sacred scorpion swatter which has served me well and is treasured.
I will always remember when he took me and Byrd fishin’ When we needed a weekend away from our kids. He kept guard on the gators while we fished and assured us that he would “pop a cap in their ass” if they got to close to us. He was a one of a kind guy and made my life richer and happier for knowing him.
He loved his family so much and would do anything for them. He was a complete success in all areas of life and his character was solid and pure. frannie – 11 hours ago FR frannie a few seconds ago I am so grateful to have known him and visit he and Winnie at their wonderful place with that big porch and ancient oaks and the green green grass.
