Ernest J. Hatton, 67, Kansas City, MO passed away December 24, 2018. He was born August 2, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY, the third child born to Leona and James Hatton. He lived in Staten Island, NY for the first eighteen years of his life.

He attended McKee vocational high school where he gravitated to wood working and carpentry. At 18 he developed a wanderlust to take to the road and preach the teachings of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Known for his spiritual and physical strength he worked as a day laborer.

Years of this work may have broken his body but not his fervent love of God. He is survived by his siblings, Yvonne Meekins, Richard Hatton and Leonard Hatton. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents.
