Mr. Ernest Haskell Jordan, 100, of Round O, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018 at The Oakbrook Health and Rehab Center. Born June 15, 1918 in Conway, he was a son of the late Ernest Clyde Jordan and Dell Causey Jordan. He worked for a number of years at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and was a contractor, owning his own business for over 30 years; and was also an insurance agent.

He was a member of Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was formerly a Sunday School Teacher. Surviving are: his wife of 52 years, Mattie Jean Jordan of Round O; son, Nelson Jordan and his wife Martha of Bennettsville; step-sons, Michael Anderson and his wife Helen of Fort Mill and Dennis Anderson and his wife Frances of Hanahan; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonita Taylor; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Jones Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 320 Jones Swamp Road, Walterboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1 until the hour of service at THE BRICE W.
