Ernestine “Ernie” Collins-Gonzalez was born on June 15, 1946 in Calloway County, Kentucky to Minnie and James Collins. Ernie is survived by two daughters: Lillie Christine Hootman(Christopher) of Kaysville, Utah and Candice Lea Conner(Andrew) of Elkhart, IN. Ernie had eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Ernie loved spending time with her family and loved to go shopping. Ernie will be remembered for telling laughter filled stories, her cooking, and the love she had for her family. The family would like to thank the Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI for their excellent care and attentiveness to Ernie.
