Obituary for Ernesto D. Tamez Ernesto D. Tamez, 94 of Raymondville, TX, entered into rest Friday, April 20, 2018 at his residence. He was born, March 12, 1924 in Lyford, to Fidel and Felicita (De La Rosa) Tamez. He is preceded in death by his parents and Ernest Tamez II, Rosalinda Tamez, Ernest Tamez Jr. Surviving are daughters, Oralia Tamez Wright, Norma Tamez Dickey, brothers, Samuel Tamez, Ramiro Tamez, sisters, Cleo Tamez, Clara Flores, 3 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held 10 A.M.-9 P.M., Monday, April 23, with a service at 6 P.M. at the Duddlesten Funeral Home, Raymondville, TX. Funeral Services will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Lasara Cemetery, Lasara, Texas. Pall Bearers will be David Rodriguez, Eric Tamez, Omar Tamez, Gabriel Vasquez, Eloy Perez, Birdie Perez; Honorary Pall Bearers will be Carlitos Tamez, Chuck Silva, Javier Alejandro.
