Hardesty, Estelle Estelle was born August 2, 1935 to the late Everett and Lydia Evans. She was born in Ewell MD, Smith Island. The only way was by boat, 12 miles across the Chesapeake.

She and her husband Homer had been married for 33 years. She enjoyed flowers, and gardening. Estelle was a big time Oriole fan and has met Cal Ripken Jr. and spoke with Brooks Robinson on the telephone.

She is a long time and devoted parishioner of the Jenkins Memorial Church. Estelle was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many. On May 11, 2019.

Estelle went home to be with her husband the late Homer Hardesty Sr She is the beloved mother of Homer Hardesty Jr. and his wife Nancy, and Barbara Ventura and husband Michael; loving grandmother of Chrissy, Dawn, Laura, Kristy and Patty. She was also blessed with 11 great grandchildren including the late Deana Jean Marie Lenz.

She is the dear sister of Lester Evans and the late Freeman, Neal, Hudson, and Harold Evans, and Daisy Einschutz, and Ruth Steepleton The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. at 169 Riviera Beach Dr. Pasadena MD on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Service will be held in Jenkins Memorial Church 133 Riviera Dr, Riviera Beach, MD on Wednesday at 10 AM. Followed by interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
