Estelle grew up babysitting Arnold’s sister, Sandra, and the families spent summers together in a bungalow colony in the Catskills. Estelle and Arnold moved from New York to Miami Beach with their children in 1972, and Estelle immediately became immersed in the community, including with her charity work for National Council of Jewish Women, for whom she served as a local chapter President, as well as the Mailman Center at the University of Miami, and JAFCO.

Estelle’s quest for learning continued with her monthly women’s book club and her continuing education classes at FIU. Estelle was an avid reader, swimmer, golfer, boater, and she loved attending performances of the opera and the symphony. She and Arnold loved going to Ocean Reef Club to boat, play tennis and golf.

She and Arnold also enjoyed spending time in the Bahamas on their boat. They traveled the world, visiting 6 continents and over 70 countries. Estelle’s beauty was only surpassed by her loving and kind spirit, grace, poise, and intellect.

Stelle or Stellie, as she was known to those who loved her, will be dearly. Services will be held at Temple Beth Sholom, 4144 Chase Ave. , Miami Beach, FL 33140 at 1:30 PM on Monday October 22, 2018, with a burial service to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th St, Doral, FL at 3:30 PM.
