OBITUARY Ethel Blankenship Campbell October 29, 1939 – December 12, 2018 Ethel Blankenship Campbell, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. She was born to Sadie Bailey Blankenship and J. Rush Blankenship on August 29, 1939. She was preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy Blankenship and Jane Blankenship Padgett.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Ernest Campbell, daughter Janet Campbell Robins, son James Campbell, grandchild Amber Robins Taylor (Shaun) and great-grandchildren Alexis Taylor and Madison Taylor. She was a 1957 graduate of West End High School and attended the University of Alabama for two years until her marriage on June 6, 1959. She lived with her husband in various locations through the US and Europe before settling in Salt Lake City, Utah for 32 years, then moving to Jemison, Alabama where she attended Rocky Mount Methodist Church.

She loved God, her family and the five stray dogs that showed up at her doorstep in Jemison. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the Johns-Ridout Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery on Monday, December 17, followed. by internment.
