On Sunday, March 3, 2019, Ethel Mae Murphy Wright of Washington, DC at the home of her daughter, Kathryn, entered eternal rest after a long illness. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Williams and Benita Lewis; four grandchildren, Darrin Williams , Danielle Williams, Lauren Lewisl and Lindsay Lewis; three great-grandchildren, Dequawn, Dillion and Olivia; two brothers, George (Van) Murphy and Carl Jack Murphy. She is also survived by many loving and devoted family members and friends.

Relatives and friends may call at Gaschs Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, Maryland 20781 on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Service begin at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.

Interment will be at Maryland National Memorial Park, 13300 Baltimore Ave. , Laurel MD 20707.
