Obituary for Eugene “Gene” R. Marecic On Friday, June 1st, 2018, Eugene R. “Gene,” age 73, of Jefferson Hills. Beloved husband of 48 years of Sandra M. “Sandy” (Zupancic) Marecic; father of Lori Peduti and David (Lori) Marecic; grandfather of Cayden Borne and Brooklyn Marecic; loving brother of Jean Marecic, Hilda Carr, Judy (Hank) Schall, and the late Raymond, John, and Donald Marecic; brother-in-law of John (Christine) Zupancic; also survived by nieces and nephews. Gene was a family man who loved being a father and grandfather.

He started his career as engineer for Westinghouse East Pittsburgh, and served in the US Army Reserves. Friends received Sunday 5 to 8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.), South Park Twp.
