Obituary for Eugene H. Huber Eugene “Gene” Huber, age 83, of Mentor, passed away August 30, 2018. He was born in Louisville, KY, on September 16, 1934, to the late Pete and Ethel Huber. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was a man of faith and love who enriched the lives of those who knew him with his joyful heart. Gene proudly severed our country in the Marines and the Navy. In his free time, Gene enjoyed to feed his adventurous spirit traveling to Africa, Alaska, Europe and the Amazon.

Gene is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Gloria Huber (nee Trimboli), children, Carla (Greg) Lyons, Craig (Veronica) Huber, grandchildren Matthew Lyons, Rachel Lyons (Robert Magness), Nathan Lyons, Mitchell Huber and Angela Huber, brother William Huber and sister-in-law, Ruthanne Huber. He was preceded in death by his son Keith Huber, brother Jerry Huber, sister-in-law Carmine Huber. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4 to 8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.
