Eugene “Papa” Barthelemy passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the age 103. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Barthelemy for 65 years. Father of Thomas Barthelemy (the late Diane)(Paula), Gerald Barthelemy (Peggy), Charles Barthelemy (Theresa), Claude Barthelemy (Beth), Ronnie Barthelemy (Daisy), Janet Dupont (Tyrrell) and the late Kenneth Barthelemy (Tonie) and Leonard Barthelemy.

Son on the late Elmira and Marcellin Barthelemy. Brother of Mary Jane Rodi and James Barthelemy. Also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Port Sulphur, LA on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:30am. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30am until 11:30am.
