Obituary for Eugene Raymond Marcotte Eugene Raymond Marcotte, 87, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at his residence. He was a native of Nashua, New Hampshire and son of the late Omer and Beatrice Marcotte. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Marie Chouinard Marcotte in 2014.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Eugene retired after several years as a custodian in the Londonderry School System in New Hampshire. Those left to cherish Eugene’s memory include his sons: Michael Marcotte and wife Tina, Joseph Marcotte and wife Anne, and Leo Marcotte; grandchildren: Jessica Honeycutt and husband David, and Joseph Marcotte; great-grandchildren: Cayden and Dakota Honeycutt; and several nieces and nephews, and all of his friends and co-workers in Londonderry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Trinity Assembly of God Building Fund 617 University Pkwy Johnson City TN 37604. The family will greet friends to share memories on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 3:00 pm until a Celebration of Eugene’s Life at 5:00 pm at Trinity Assembly of God, in Johnson City with Pastor Ed Jeffries officiating. Burial will take place in New Hampshire at a later date.
