Obituary for Eva E. Toline Eva E. Toline, 88, of Wahoo, formerly of Central City, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Saunders County Medical Center in Wahoo. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Central City with Father David Fulton and Father Mark Pfeifer officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, December 10th from 5-7 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Interment will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 11th at 2 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Saunders County Medical Center Long Term Care Center activities department. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. soltwagnerfuneral.com.

Eva was born on September 14, 1930 in Alliance, Nebraska to Melvin and Elizabeth (Sisley) Colerick. Eva grew up in Alliance, and graduated from Alliance High School in 1948. Following her graduation Eva married Maurice Oliver “Bill” Toline on February 28, 1949 in Alliance at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

They would make their home near Lakeside and Alliance until the family moved to Missouri in the early 1960’s. They would then move near Gillman City, Missouri, Gordon, Nebraska and then for 15 years they would live near Brewster. In 1985, they moved to Central City, where Eva would remain until she moved to Wahoo in 2014.

While Bill was working on different ranches, Eva would take care of her children and she sold Avon for nearly 40 years, until she decided to cutback in 2010. Eva was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Central City as well as being very involved with the Marriage Encounter Circle. Eva enjoyed quilting but her greatest love was getting to spend time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children, George and Mary Toline of Wahoo, Bruce and Robin Toline of Nebraska City, Julie Toline of Broken Bow and Melodie and David Nozicka of Ravenna; eleven grandchildren, Trent Toline, Travis (Marnie) Toline, Tyler (Sarah) Toline, Aggie (Eric) Goephert, Lacy (Felipe) Toline, Adam Toline, Bret Schomer, Rachel Nozicka, Matej Nozicka, Rebecca Nozicka, and Joseph Nozicka, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings, Minnie Rusk, Dorothy Garrett, Marlene Finnell, Dale, Lyle, Ben, Earl, Donnie, and Harlan Colerick.
