Obituary for Eva Mae Peter (Hammond) Print Eva M. Peter 1929-2019 Eva Mae Peter, 89 of Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019 at her home. Eva was born on September 26, 1929 in Skidmore, Missouri to Emerson C. and Mary E. (Hilbert) Hammond. She was a 1947 graduate of the Skidmore High School.

Eva was a homemaker and had worked at the L & L Grocery Store in Skidmore. She was a member of the Skidmore United Methodist Church where she enjoyed playing the piano and babysitting. She married Dean E. Peter on August 24, 1947 in Skidmore.

He preceded her in death on October 20, 2010. She was also preceded by her parents and an infant daughter, Cindy Peter and her sister, Margaret Goslee. Survivors include her children, Linda (Verlin) Long, Maitland, Missouri, Karol (Jerome) Wilmes, Skidmore, Missouri, Jan (Christine) Peter, Bolivar, Missouri, Randy (Brenda) Peter, Maryville, Missouri and Deana (Dale) Watson, Savannah, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren.

Services 2pm Monday, February 4th at the Maitland Christian Church, Maitland, Missouri under the care of Price Funeral Home. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, Missouri. There will be no visitation held.
