Obituary for Evangeline Matrana Richard Evangeline Matrana Richard age 88 passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Ulysse J. Richard. Loving mother of Elaine Marie Bourgeois (Lee).

Grandmother of Lee Bourgeois, Jr. (Laura). Great Grandmother of Triston, Katie and Grant. Daughter of the late Frank John Matrana and the late Augustine Molaison Matrana.

Granddaughter of the late Emma Zeringue Molaison. Sister of Nick Matrana, Ethel Johnston, Leverda Richard, Frank Matrana (Addie), Camile Matrana (Naida), Jenell Moreau, Dolores Constant, Daniel Matrana (Jonni), Anthony Matrana (Debbie) and the late EmmaDille Rodriguez, Beverly Soileau and Stella Landry. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She worked for many years and retired from Maison Blanche, D.H. Holmes and Dillards Department Stores. She was a faithful and dedicated parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Church in Marrero. The family would like to thank Jo Ellen Smith Convalescent Home, Heart of Hospice and a special heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Charles Simonson, his wife Rhea and Nurse Ashley for their love and care given to Evangeline.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 11:30AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1PM.
