Obituary for Evelyn Farson Chapman Evelyn Irene Farson Chapman, 88, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens, SC. Born in Hemingford, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Herman Daniel Farson and Winnie May Reed Farson. Evelyn was the valedictorian of her high school graduating class, a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Sharon (Verlin) Alexander of Marietta, Craig Chapman of Marietta, Jeff Chapman of Travelers Rest and Linda (James) Knickerbocker of Montgomery, AL; 6 sisters and 2 grandchildren. Along with her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by a sister and brother. Services will be private.
