Evelyn Fournier Auburn, Michigan Mrs. Fournier 86 passed away Sunday January 6, 2019at Bay Shores Senior Care following a lengthy illness. She was born in Bay City on January 14, 1932 to the late Charles & Florence (Bishop) Fahringer. She married Bernard Fournier on August 22, 1953.

He preceded her in death in May 2016. Evelyn was a devoted and loving wife for 62 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to Peggy & Dave Arnold, Donald & Lois Fournier, Ronald… Read More » & Sherri Fournier, Mary & Tom Beiser, David & Denise Fournier and Nancy & David Braun; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way. She was preceded in death by 6 sisters and a brother.

Evelyn was a member of Prince of Peace Parish attending Sacred Heart Church and sang in the choir. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading and music. She loved crocheting and gifted many of her family and friends with warm and colorful slippers she created.

Evelyn also, made the best rock candy that was enjoyed and shred with many people. For many years she sang in the church choir at Holy Trinity and then Sacred Heart Parrish. She had a deep love of family and nothing gave her more joy than to spend her days visiting with her kids and grandkids.

She will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank the nurses at Bay Shores Senior Care and Southern Care Hospice your kindness and care was greatly appreciated. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 12, 2019 at 10 am from Prince of Peace Parrish-Sacred Heart Campus with Rev.

Fr. Nicholas F. Coffaro and Deacon Michael Arnold presiding with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Auburn. Family will be present at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Friday from 2 to 8 pm to greet family and friends.

A Vigil Service will be held 7 pm Friday evening. On Saturday Mrs. Fournier will lie in state at church from 9 am until time of services.
