Evelyn Louise Williams, 100, North Manchester, IN died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Timbercrest Healthcare Center. Louise was born December 6, 1918 at Wabash County, IN to Carl R. & Neva (Shaffer) Foster. She graduated from Chester High School and later met Dale Williams on a blind date arranged by her mother.

Dale and Louise were married October 14, 1939. Sharing nearly 66 years together, they traveled much of the United States and Canada and joined tour groups to Europe and Russia. Dale passed away May 4, 2005.

Louise was employed at the former Indiana Lawrence Bank & Trust Co. as a secretary in bookkeeping and as a benefits officer. She retired in 1985 after 24 years of service. She enjoyed sewing and in her later years found much enjoyment in reading.

She was a member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha sorority and the Manchester Church of the Brethren. Surviving Louise are two daughters, Joy (William) Beeler, Madeira Beach, Florida and Julie Yeater, Indianapolis, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law David Yeater and a brother John Foster.

Services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN. Pastor Karen Eberly will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.

Friends may visit with the family at Timbercrest Chapel on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Final arrangements are entrusted to McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, IN.
