Evelyn Stephens August 14, 1950-February 21, 2019 South Bend-Evelyn Stephens, 68, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Hospice House, South Bend. Evelyn was born on August 14, 1950 in LaPorte to Kenneth and Gladys (Harp) Bush. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are children, William “Billy” (Angie) Stephens, Robert “Bob” (Ann) Stephens and Sarah Stephens; six grandchildren, Cheyenne Stephens, Kennee Smith, Jonathan Alsip, David O’Neil, Martha Alsip, Trinity Blad, Noah Stephens and Joseph Ryan; great grandchildren, Ely and Tate Smith; sister, Brenda (Doug) Bowers and brothers, Wayne (Olivia) Bush, Earl (Pam) Bush and Ralph (Cherie) Bush and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a devoted mother; she loved her grandchildren and loved her pets. Visitation will be on Monday, February 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with funeral services at 1 p.m. all in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the family c/o Hahn Funeral Home. To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.
