Obituary of Evelyn Bradeen Page Milo and Dade City, FL – Evelyn Bradeen Page, 88, passed away March 4, 2019, in Dade City, FL after a short illness. She was born November 12, 1930, in Milo, ME, the daughter of Samuel W. and Theresa (MacCall) Bradeen. Evelyn was a graduate of Milo High School and Farmington State Teachers College where she earned her Masters and C.A.S. Degrees in Education.

She taught for 33 years, including 27 in Millinocket. While in Maine, Evelyn belonged to the Aldworth Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, the Orion Rebekah Lodge, the J.P. Chaisson American Legion Auxillary, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, the National Education Association, the Maine Teachers Association, and the Millinocket Teachers Association. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Dade City Florida.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Karen and her beloved son-in-law, Everett Rigsby, of Dade City, FL; a sister, Carolyn Peacock of Tuscon, AZ; step-grandchildren, Everett Rigsby Jr., Rachel Rigsby Lare and her two sons; Marcie Chapman Kolbusz and her children Manda and Austin; and many nieces and nephews, including Carol and Kenneth Hudak who were a great help to her in her later years. In addition, she will be remembered by many Katahdin Avenue Elementary School students who kept in touch with her for many years after she retired. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, William Chapman; a sister, Regina Livers, and three brothers, Joseph, Frederick, and Carl Bradeen.

A memorial service will be announced closer to time of service in June. Burial will be in the family lot, Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
