Obituary of Evelyn Hyde-Karr EVELYN ESTELE HYDE-KARR Evelyn Estelle Hyde-Karr, age 93, of Verona, Missouri, formerly of Albertville, Alabama, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, at the Aurora Nursing Center in Aurora, Missouri. She was born November 1, 1925, in Crossville, Alabama, the daughter of James Lewis and Minnie Mae (Tidmore) Masters. On December 11, 1941, she married Curtis O. Hyde and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1993.

In 1998, she married Troy Karr and he preceded her in death on October 18, 2009. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, N. Marie McKee and her husband, Robert, of Verona, Missouri; two grandchildren, Peggy T. Painter and Kenneth S. McKee both of Verona; one great-granddaughter, Ashley Kreuer and her husband, Zach, of Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Gerald Masters of Texas and Billy Masters of Alabama; one sister, Mary Masters of Alabama and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, James and Minnie, husbands, Curtis and Troy, infant son, William Virgil Hyde and seven brothers and sisters, preceded her in death.

A graveside service, under the direction of the W.T. Wilson Funeral Home, in Rainsville, Alabama, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery in Hopewell, Alabama. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Online condolences may be shared at www.
