Evelynne Sue Morrow April 19, 1930 – December 22, 2018 Evelynne Sue Morrow, 88, of Scurry, TX passed away on December 22, 2018 in Kaufman. Evelynne was born on April 19, 1930 to Johnny William and Gertrude Faye Hammack in Scurry, TX. She was raised in Scurry and graduated from Scurry-Rosser High School in 1947.

Evelynne when to East Texas State University and received her Master’s from there. She moved to Peeltown after she married Thurman Odell Morrow on November 18, 1948 in Rockwall, TX. They were married 64 years before he passed away on March 9, 2013.

Evelynne was a member of the Gillespie Memorial Baptist Church in Peeltown. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Bryan Haskell Morrow and wife Debra of Scurry, TX and Rebecca Lynn Morrow of Scurry, TX; brothers Pete Hammack of Kaufman, TX and Jerry Kell Hammack of Paris, TX; sister Saundra Hammack Shelton of Payne Springs, TX; grandchildren Bradley Therman Morrow of Kileen, TX and Bryan Odell Morrow; numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
