Obituary of Everett Grimes It is with great sadness that the family of Everett Grimes announces his passing. On February 15, 2019, Everett Donald Grimes passed away peacefully at his home in San Diego, CA. Born on February 25, 1943, Everett was raised in Montebello and Hollywood, California.

As a teenager, Everett participated in ROTC at Hollywood High school and dreamed of attending West Point. He realized that dream as a part of the USMA class of 1964. Everett spent his professional career as a civil engineer and took great pride in managing major infrastructure projects throughout southern California, New Mexico, Montanta, New York and Washington.

When not working, Everett enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, boating, water skiing and, in his later years, walking. Everett is pre-deceased by his parents, Claire and Juanita and is survived by his four children Erica Meadows (Scott), Randy Grimes(Caroline), Marian Morales (Francisco), Bob Grimes (Laura), 12 grandchildren, brother, Norman Grimes as well as his niece, Sabrina and grand-nephew. A Memorial Service will be held at his beloved alma matter, West Point at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Old Cadet Chapel.

Interment will follow in West Point Cemetery.
