Obituary for Mrs. Eyvonne Phillips-Foster Mrs. Eyvonne Phillips Foster, 69, was born on September 7, 1949 in Worth County, Georgia to the late Odell Phillips and the late Bessie Collins Phillips. Eyvonne transitioned from her earthly home on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the St. James Pallbearers Cemetery #2, with the repast to conclude at Union Missionary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. She was Secretary for the 2nd Georgia District Baptist Association; Secretaru for Pleasant Hill Baptist Church; freelance Secretary; President of Women’s Department at Bethel Baptist Association; 2nd District Women’s Auxiliary President. Eyvonne enjoyed drinking mountain dew; attending church and working on programs.

She graduated from High School Class of 1969; and later furthered her education at Moultrie Tech and received her license to work as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Foster; her parents; brothers, Ira Phillips, Walter C. Phillips, Earl Phillips, Earnest Phillips and Melvin Phillips; and three sisters, Mae Harris, Hattie Phillips and Honey Phillips. She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Arthur Frank Foster (Melessa) of Chicago, Illinois, Reginald Foster (Sylvia) and Stephen Foster both of Moultrie, Georgia; two honorary daughters, Rhonda E. Phillips of Douglasville, Georgia and Shonta M. Rose of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers, Jesse Phillips (Sharon) of Allentown, Pennsylvania, William Philips of Brooklyn, New York, and Richard Allen of Miami, Florida; three sisters, Sarah Cody of Allentown, Betty Robinson of Fairfield, Ohio, and Emma J. Allen of Miami, Florida; 6 grandchildren, Nikki Foster, D’Neria Foster, Devin Foster, Damilah, Foster, Jordan Foster, Stephen P. Foster, Jr.; 2 great-grandchildren, Khairi Palmore and Khyler Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
