Fannie’s Obituary Mrs. Fannie Mae Cox Lattimore entered into rest on March 16, 2019. was born to Mr. Sidney Cox,Sr. and Adlay Taylor Cox on January 29, 1941 in Juniortown ,Alabama.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Roosevelt City, AL. She graduated from Wenonah High School in 1959. She later moved to Augusta, Georgia and resided in the Turpin Hill community.

Fannie was a volunteer at Levi White Elementary School and a member of Bibleway Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her daughter Willie Mae Diggs. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl Diggs, Barbara Ann Watkins, Mary Ann Diggs, Joshua Diggs, Sarah Ann Diggs, Jon M. Lattimore and Paul S. Lattimore; grandchildren; Demetrius Diggs, Alexis Latia Diggs, Shante Michelle Diggs, Gwendolyn Rush, Cornelius Jones, Ariana Diggs, Joshua Diggs, Jr., Emanuel Diggs, Gabriella Diggs, Tatiana Myers and Demonte Campbell; great grandchildren: Levi Diggs and Kalissa Diggs; sister, Gertrude Cox Beavers; nieces, Regina Ruffin Lockett, Tamera Ruffin-Tankersley; nephews, Walter Ruffin and Shawn Jefferson and a host of other relatives. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. , Augusta.
