Faron Lynn Morgan was born on October 5, 1960, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Pat Wayne and Nelda Joyce (Collins) Morgan. He passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in Comanche. Family visitation will be held Sunday, May 5, from 2:00-4:00 PM at Whitt Funeral Home.

A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, May 6, at 11:00 AM at Providence Baptist Church, 281864 East 1790 Rd, Comanche, with Bro. Dee Bowen and Kirby Kelly officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Faron was a 1979 Comanche High School graduate. Following graduation, he attended Red River Technology Center, studying Diesel Mechanics. He worked for Chenault Implement Company for several years.

He retired from Halliburton Energy Services where he was employed as a truck shop mechanic. He also had a shop at his home where he worked on equipment, never charging for most of his services. When he was younger, he liked to go coon hunting.

Most of all, he loved having his family close to him and enjoyed cooking for them. On May 7, 1982, he married Jolene Fay Kaus in Duncan. Three children – Josh, Amanda and Kayla, were born to this union.

Faron is survived by his wife of almost 37 years, Jolene; children, Josh and wife Penny Morgan, Amanda Morgan-Kelnhofer, and Kayla and husband Adam Clements, all of Comanche; grandchildren, Rebecca Morgan, Cody and wife Erin Johnson, Addison Kelnhofer, Savanna Kelnhofer, Bayler Clements, and Heston Clements; great grandson, Corbin Johnson; brother, Brent and wife Ann Morgan of Duncan; sister, Lisa and husband Clif Taylor of Comanche; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat Wayne and Nelda Joyce Morgan; and his grandparents, Ira and Gladys Morgan and Russell and Lorene Collins.
